Meet Caden

Born in Chippewa Falls, Caden is the youngest of three siblings and a first-generation college graduate.

Caden understands the importance of family, hard work, and love for his community. He was born into a long line of loggers, farmers, and working-class families. These roots have been ingrained in him to work hard and help those around him.

Caden struggled throughout his public school years, but with the help and dedication of public school teachers, Caden graduated in the class of 2018 and went on to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where he would excel in studying Political science, graduating with honors in  2022.

In his senior year at UW-Eau Claire, he stepped into public service, choosing to run for Chippewa County Board and winning his election by a landslide 10 points. Now, Caden is looking to help even more of his fellow neighbors by running for the 92nd Assembly District seat.

Caden is committed to bringing positive change back to Wisconsin and standing up to private interests that only seek to line their pockets off the backs of hard-working Wisconsinites. He will advocate for quality education, affordable healthcare, mental health services, saving family farms, and promoting local economic growth.

Caden grew up with the benefits of being in a Union family and is a proud supporter and advocate for Unions. His father, a Union Operator,  logger, and hard worker, taught Caden the importance of providing for one's family. Caden was the first to call for a boycott of all Molson-Coors products when the Leinenkugels Teamsters went on strike for better wages and benefits.

His mother, Jacci Berg, is a preschool teacher. She set an example for Caden of selfless service and teaching the next generations of Americans.  Caden appreciates all the teachers he had growing up through public school, and he is forever indebted to the public school system for giving him a quality education.

Caden continued his public education by staying close and attending UW-Eau Claire, a school he had dreamed about attending since Elementary School.

Caden still lives in Chippewa Falls. While he is on the Chippewa County Board of Supervisors, he works part-time as a Manager for a local theater chain. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Chippewa County Democratic Party.

Through all of this, Caden has dealt with mental health problems, but with the help of loved ones, he overcame what he once thought would be the end of him. He knows he is not alone in his struggle and that millions of others struggle with mental health issues, too. Mental Health is an issue Caden takes seriously and one he will tackle for the sake of all Wisconsinites.

Born in 2000, If elected, Caden would be the youngest active member of the Wisconsin State Assembly,
